Job description

We are looking for an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise to support the design analysis and execution of offshore structural projects. The role involves performing both pre-service and in-service structural analyses ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications and contributing to safe cost-effective and constructible engineering solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analyses for offshore structures covering both in-service (in-place spectral fatigue pushover boat impact) and pre-service (loadout lift transportation) conditions.
  • Execute structural design calculations for pipe supports, equipment supports, miscellaneous structures and barge strengthening checks.
  • Develop review and deliver engineering reports, drawings, and specifications in compliance with project and client requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of international design codes (API, RP 2A, AISC, ISO etc.) and client standards (e.g. ADNOC, TOTAL).
  • Utilize structural analysis software such as SACS, USFOS and similar tools to deliver accurate and optimized designs.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical integrity and constructability of designs.
  • Support senior engineers in reviews, quality checks and client interactions.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement in all project deliverables.
Key Qualification
  • Bachelors degree (B.E.) in Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Masters degree (M.E.) in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in offshore structural engineering and design.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering deliverables within schedule.
  • Practical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (SACS, USFOS etc.).
  • Strong understanding of international design codes (API, RP 2A, AISC, ISO etc.).
  • Familiarity with major client/OPCO standards (ADNOC, TOTAL etc.).
  • Experience in offshore structural design and analysis of:
    • Pipe supports and equipment supports
    • Miscellaneous structures
    • Barge strengthening checks
    • Pre-service and in-service conditions
