Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Technical Lead in Abu Dhabi to oversee mechanical maintenance activities during nuclear refueling outages. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in the nuclear power sector and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include developing work packages, coordinating with engineering teams, and training junior technicians. This is a contract position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in mechanical maintenance and leadership roles at a nuclear power plant.
• Familiar with valves, actuators, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
• Skilled in using mechanical tools and specialized equipment for alignment, testing, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement work packages and schedules for mechanical activities.
• Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance activities as per the planned schedule.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all related work packages.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and team members.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment on outage schedules.
