Qualifications

  • Strong background in mixed-use building projects is mandatory.

The project

Mace is providing project management services on a large mixed-use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial workplaces and retail units along with public realm.

You’ll be responsible for
  • Review Design Validation Reports, IFC drawings, and shop drawings for mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with FIDIC Yellow Book, UAE mechanical codes, and Abu Dhabi authority requirements (ADM, ADCD, Estidama, etc.).
  • Supervise site installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and integration with BMS.
  • Coordinate authority submissions, inspections, and approvals.
  • Resolve design and site-related technical issues efficiently.
  • Liaise with the Resident Engineer, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple technical reviews to ensure timely approvals and compliant delivery.
You’ll need to have
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience working for a PMC and/or Supervision Consultant, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
  • Strong background in mixed-use building projects (mandatory).
  • Experience in infrastructure works is an advantage (not required).
  • Familiarity with Design & Build contracts under FIDIC Yellow Book conditions.
