Marine Technical Project Manager

What you could expect as a Marine Technical Project Manager :

• Carryout preliminary selections of appropriate scope, content, price and technical calculations
• Customized scope definition for each enquiry – identify the most appropriate technical content and scope by understanding the customer specific requirement
• Costing of subject customized scope, as per the guidelines provided by the factory
• Checking and confirming scope and pricing with factory, liaising and follow-up for all open questions from the customer for both commercial and technical content
• Maintain, update and keep project tracking and follow up list and provide necessary inputs to management / immediate supervisor as needed
• Attending of TNC and technical discussions with the customers
• Package quotes – support sales team in content definition and cost estimation for package quotes

What we expect from you as a Marine Technical Project Manager :

• Act as a single point interface between the factory and the customer for all technical matters
• Track all technical milestones with regards to the technical information exchange and day to day follow-up and tracking of activities of orders for ZF marine Thrusters, and support on technical queries to customers
• Follow-up and timely submission of drawings, documents, certificates, manuals etc.
• Preparation of customized project drawings / protocols / supporting documents, manage document revision status, updates and approvals as needed in the contract
• Follow-up with factory & client for timely completion of activities
• Handing over of commissioning package with all relevant drawings and documentation to Service team for commissioning
• Assist customers and internal sales team in application engineering for custom solutions offered
