Prime Objective
Manage all aspects of upstream products in terms of product selection product application and field optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product evaluations to select cost effective products to suit customer challenges.
- Support upstream oilfield business by writing treatment proposals support tenders and requests for quotations visit customer sites conduct process surveys field trials and optimize treatment with relevant operational parameters.
- Troubleshoot chemical injection treat rates advise on trial protocols.
- Work closely with the lab chemists to help with product selection
- Work with the regional technical director and global product manager to expand regional offerings bridge gaps and enhance our market offerings.
- Work closely with the commercial team to support existing and new business.
- Analyze performance data from monitoring devices and translate it to useful information leading to track-able actions to improve system performance and meet target KPIs.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on each visit and discuss the findings and status of the treatment program with customer and in-country commercial team manager.
- Work closely with regional sales leaders to introduce and try cost effective solutions at customer sites.
- Initiate lab product selection testing and evaluations to support product recommendations to meet customer needs
- Own and manage field trial chemical and equipment kits in the region and ensure healthy conditions of the kits and inventory of disposable items.
- Work with in-country oilfield focal points to support opportunities within company strike zones.
- Assist with product delivery outside normal scope when needed due to high volume activity.
- Work closely with regional product managers to introduce new products and rationalize existing ones.
Main Liaison
Upstream product application leader will work with regional technical director as part of a team with other existing product application members (refining and petrochemical industry)
Qualifications
Qualifications Skills & Experience:
- 10-15years oilfield experience and chemical treatments.
- degree in Chemical Industrial Mechanical Engineering Biology or Chemistry.
- Valid driving license Self-accountability for training and growth
- Strong technical expertise and solid customer service skills
- Ability to understand customers needs and concerns
- Knowledge of business trends in the industry and market is preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Team work and communication skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Power Point.
