A leading financial institution in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced professional to drive the growth of its Asset Management business across the GCC region. The role involves managing client relationships, prospecting new business, and collaborating with internal teams. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in asset or wealth management, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of investment strategies. This position requires travel and a proactive approach to meet sales targets.
To support and drive the growth of our Asset Management business across the GCC region by servicing existing clients and actively contributing to new business development. This includes handling client inquiries, supporting sales initiatives, and strengthening relationships with distributors and institutional investors.
The role operates within the Asset Management business targeting GCC markets. It requires existing relationships, prospecting and sales skills as well as a good knowledge of asset management and how to position products and services to different client types. The role will interact regularly with clients, fund distributors, and prospects across retail, family office, institutional, and sovereign wealth segments. Internally, the role involves collaboration with portfolio managers, marketing, product development, business support, and compliance teams as well as the wider banking group areas such as the private and corporate banking departments. The role requires business travel and a self-driven approach within established compliance and regulatory frameworks.
