Job summary

A leading aquatic experiences company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a dedicated Operations Manager for Aquatic Life Support Systems. The role involves managing and monitoring the operations of automated life support systems, leading a team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing improvements. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or marine science, over 7 years of experience in aquatic life support systems, and strong leadership skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on marine life.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in aquatic life support systems in a zoo, aquarium, or oceanarium setting.
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • 3 years of experience managing projects involving multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and maintenance of automated life support control systems SCADA.
  • Oversee ALSS maintenance equipment, inspection, repair, and installation.
  • Monitor training and development of colleagues in the section.
