Position: Librarian Assistant (part-time)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian Assistant to join our team in Khalifah A City. This is a part-time position with a salary of $900 per month. We offer a free visa and ticket for our employees.

As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the library collection, providing excellent customer service to library patrons, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the library. This job does not require English proficiency, making it suitable for non-native speakers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the librarian in cataloging and shelving books, magazines, and other materials
  • Help patrons find materials they need and provide assistance with using library resources
  • Monitor library usage and maintain an accurate record of borrowed items
  • Process new materials for circulation and assist with inventory management
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of the library by shelving books and tidying up workstations
  • Assist with planning and organizing library events and activities
  • Provide friendly customer service to all library patrons
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Library Science preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working in a library or similar setting is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills; fluency in English is not required but preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
