Responsibilities

• Maintain the library’s collection of books, magazines, videos, and other materials; catalog new items; organize them in the library’s database; and assist patrons in accessing materials.
• Help patrons use library resources such as the online catalog or electronic databases.
• Assist with programming such as book clubs or story time for children.
• Provide reference services to help patrons with research projects or other inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service and apply knowledge of library policies and procedures; work independently and take initiative when needed.
