A leading charity organization is looking for a positive and energetic Legal Secretary and Office Manager. This role involves supporting legal work, managing office affairs, and liaising with diverse stakeholders. We are seeking a positive, highly energetic, and enthusiastic Legal Secretary and Office Manager; someone who possesses social awareness on a global level with strong business acumen. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into how a charity project is operated and funded. The candidate will be an integral part of the team and have direct involvement in managing a busy and stimulating office environment. There is a genuine opportunity to make a difference in all areas of the social enterprise owned by the charity.
Key responsibilities include supporting legal contract work, providing general EA support, and administrative and office management support. Additionally, the role involves managing the Director’s personal affairs, liaising with household staff, and managing the Director’s property portfolio, communicating with tenants, property managers, and contractors. The position is based in Dubai, with periodic travel required, sometimes for extended periods. Travel and accommodation will be provided. Due to a new project, the workload until the end of December will be intense, and the candidate will be required to work abroad for the first two months.
The successful applicant will have experience working in a legal environment or exposure to extensive contract work. Paralegal training is beneficial. IT skills should be exceptionally advanced in MS Office, and a typing speed of 75-80 wpm is expected due to high levels of audio dictation work. The candidate must be a native English speaker and hold a passport allowing flexible travel across Europe, Australia, the US, and Canada.
