Job summary

A leading technology firm in Dubai is looking for a Project Manager to lead planning and execution for grid software projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and fluency in Arabic and English. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, budgets, and customer communications while establishing PMO standards and ensuring successful project delivery in an international environment. This role does not provide relocation assistance.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant experience in electrical network and SCADA, EMS & DMS.
  • Experience with grid-based software delivery and connectivity solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO principles, governance, and portfolio management.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to manage customer-facing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.

Job Description Summary

Project Management/Planning/Coordinating activities in the context of a grid software services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction. Can also lead our PMO function - a hands‑on professional who ensures successful project delivery while driving governance, visibility, and consistency across our grid software services portfolio.

Job Description
What you'll do:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of grid software and services projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, contracts, and budgets, maintaining transparency through strong reporting and governance.
  • Serve as the key customer interface, presenting progress, managing expectations, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Establish and manage PMO standards – templates, processes, and tools that drive consistency across all projects.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports to track project and regional portfolio health.
  • Facilitate project review and governance meetings, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of key risks and issues.
  • Support resource planning, prioritization, and portfolio tracking to optimize team utilization and project outcomes.
  • Champion compliance with internal quality, documentation, and delivery standards.
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in electrical network and SCADA, EMS & DMS.
  • Experience with the delivery of grid-based software/IT and connectivity solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO principles, governance, and portfolio management.
