Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision using hand and power tools.
• Oversee and coordinate carpentry work on construction sites to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
• Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters and apprentices.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to ensure project success.
• Estimate materials costs and labor requirements for projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction.
