Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the Dialysis and Nephrology units to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure competency in all dialysis procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams for smooth patient management.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control safety protocols and regulatory standards (JCI and local authorities).
  • Monitor quality indicators and lead improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and equipment availability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems and support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and departmental administrative tasks.
  • Support training, competency assessments, and ongoing development of nursing staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent healthcare discipline.
  • 710 years of clinical experience in nephrology and dialysis care.
  • 35 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a renal or dialysis setting.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with EHR systems and data‑driven performance management.
Preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Dialysis Nursing.
Skills & Competencies
  • Deep knowledge of dialysis modalities, vascular access management, and nephrology clinical protocols.
  • Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety standards.
  • Excellent ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (JCI, DHA, DOH, MOHAP).
  • Ability to handle high‑pressure environments and make sound clinical decisions.
