Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to carry out surveying works for AACM (Annual Asset Condition Maintenance) and maintenance of roads, bridges, and structures. The role involves performing accurate field surveys, setting out works, monitoring levels and alignments, and supporting construction and maintenance activities in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct topographic, control, and as-built surveys for road, bridge, and structural maintenance projects.
  • Perform setting-out works for roads, bridges, underpasses, and associated structures in accordance with approved drawings.
  • Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference networks.
  • Monitor alignment, levels, and tolerances during construction and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and verify as-built drawings and survey reports.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams to ensure accurate execution of works.
  • Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition.
  • Comply with project Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements.
  • Support inspections, measurements, and progress verification for payment and reporting purposes.
  • Liaise with authorities and consultants as required for survey approvals.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Land Surveying or B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute (mandatory).
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in AACM projects and maintenance of bridges and structures.
  • Proven experience in surveying works for roads, bridges, and structural infrastructure projects of similar nature and magnitude.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying methods, setting-out techniques, and tolerances for infrastructure works.
  • Proficiency in surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, and levels.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar survey and drafting software.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi / UAE municipal standards and procedures is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
