Job description
Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all kitchen and laundry equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, steamers, grills, fryers, washers, dryers, flatwork ironers and presses
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize operational downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service reports
  • Coordinate with kitchen and laundry teams to plan maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards
  • Monitor spare parts usage and report requirements to the Engineering team
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Ensure proper use of tools and adherence to safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Technical Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 23 years experience in a hotel resort or similar environment
  • Knowledge of hotel safety standards and preventive maintenance systems
  • Experience with multinational brand standards is an advantage
