Job Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Associateto join their legal team in Dubai. The Junior Legal Associate will work closely with a Senior Legal Counsel, assisting in a variety of legal tasks and gaining valuable hands-on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level legal professional looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support the senior team member.
• Prepare summaries, briefs, and other legal documentation under the guidance of the Senior Legal Counsel.
• Manage and organize legal files, ensuring that all documents are up to date and accessible.
• Coordinate with other departments to collect necessary information and documents.
• Review compliance matters and ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
• Attend meetings and take minutes, providing administrative support to the legal team.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a legal role, ideally within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and basic legal principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in document formatting and organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow guidance while taking initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in corporate, commercial, or contract law.
• Familiarity with UAE laws and regulations.
• Certification in legal studies or paralegal qualifications.
