International Project Manager

The Musco Gulf Lighting & Contracting Team has an opening for a Project Manager at our office in Qatar. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

Essential Criteria
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent experience in the electrical field will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of communication networks and lighting system integration.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Innovative problem‑solving with a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, with 130‑150 travel days per year (2‑4 overnight stays per week on average).
  • Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction, and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; basic AutoCAD skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; energetic and team‑oriented.
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to quality work.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales representatives on pre‑sale site visits as needed.
  • Define and develop Musco's scope of work for each project.
  • Create and evaluate Request for Quotations (RFQs) for subcontractors.
  • Coordinate the delivery, storage, and installation of Musco lighting systems.
  • Process and communicate change orders to the Musco team.
  • Oversee on‑site installation and manage subcontractors.
  • Commission lighting systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
  • Provide customer training on lighting system controls.
  • Conduct final inspections and deliver project close‑out reports.
  • Approve invoices and coordinate final billing with the Credit Department.
  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
