Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking Integration Architect to design and govern the next-generation integration landscape for our enterprise. This role goes beyond traditional middleware — it is about building API-driven, event-enabled and cloud-native integration frameworks that enable seamless connectivity, real-time insights, and digital transformation at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise integration strategy, focusing on API-first, microservices-based and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and maintain integration reference architectures for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies such as iPaaS, API marketplaces, AI / ML-enabled integrations.
- Architect end-to-end integrations across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and external ecosystems.
- Implement API Management platforms (Azure API Management, MuleSoft, Apigee, Boomi, etc.) and establish developer portals.
- Enable real-time data exchange through event streaming platforms (Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Confluent).
- Govern integration delivery to ensure reliability, resilience and scalability.
- Define integration patterns, standards and reusable frameworks.
- Ensure security, compliance, and observability across all integrations (OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Establish monitoring, logging, and performance frameworks for mission-critical integrations.
- Partner with enterprise architects, domain architects, and engineering leaders to align integration with enterprise strategy.
- Mentor development teams in API design, event-driven models, DevOps practices for integrations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on integration’s role in enabling digital agility.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience, with experience in integration architecture.
- Proven expertise in API-first and event-driven integration across cloud and on-prem ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms: Azure Integration Services.
- Strong background in microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming and integration with modern data platforms.
- Experience in security and compliance frameworks for integration.
- Experience in cloud-native, multi-cloud and hybrid integration environments.
- Exposure to AI / ML-driven integration tools and automation accelerators.
