YOUR JOB

In your role of Individual Distribution Manager, you will support the growth and retention of Cigna Healthcare’s Individual business across the UAE through both direct and intermediary channels.

The role focuses on sales execution, performance management, and commercial discipline, ensuring sustainable and compliant delivery under the direction of the Director, Individual & SME Distribution.

You’ll lead the Individual sales and retention teams, strengthen broker relationships, and work cross‑functionally with Product, Finance, Underwriting, Compliance, Marketing and IT to deliver strong results and a positive customer experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver new business and retention targets for the Individual business.
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management and accurate Salesforce forecasting.
  • Coach and develop the sales and retention teams for consistent performance.
  • Build strong broker and aggregator partnerships to enhance conversion.
  • Partner with Product, Finance and Underwriting to support pricing and margin optimization.
  • Champion compliance and operational excellence across all processes.
  • Foster a customer health first culture and manage escalations effectively.
  • Promote Salesforce adoption, data accuracy and process improvement.
  • Drive collaboration with Marketing and Digital to improve lead quality.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Specific Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of UAE individual health insurance, including broker and aggregator dynamics.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements (CBUAE, DHA, DOH).
    • Commercial judgement and ability to interpret P&L metrics.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Experience
    • 7–10 years in health insurance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Proven record in sales delivery, conversion management and retention growth.
