Job Summary

Our client, a leading financial services firm in Dubai, is seeking a proactive HR Generalist with a strong finance background to manage HR operations while supporting financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge HR management with financial insight, ensuring HR strategies are fully aligned with organizational and fiscal goals.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and industry regulations.
  • Drive performance management, engagement, and learning initiatives.
Finance Integration
  • Collaborate with finance teams on payroll, benefits administration, and budgeting.
  • Analyze HR financial metrics (headcount costs, attrition expenses, etc.) to recommend cost-optimized strategies.
  • Support compensation structuring, incentive design, and financial audits of HR records.
  • Partner with finance on staffing forecasts, workforce planning, and aligning HR initiatives with fiscal objectives.
Cross-Functional & Strategic
  • Develop training programs to enhance financial literacy among managers and employees.
  • Contribute to HR strategy during growth, restructuring, or M&A activities.
  • Explore HR systems improvements, with interest/experience in AI-driven HR tools considered an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in HR roles with strong exposure to financial processes (payroll, budgeting, reporting).
Skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Workday, SAP, or similar) and financial software (QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with financial acumen.
  • Solid knowledge of UAE labor laws and accounting principles.
  • Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, CFA, or CPA.
  • Preferred Background: Prior experience in financial services, corporate finance, or consulting.
