Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Trainer with a strong background in oil and gas drilling to join our team. The HSE Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to our employees and contractors in order to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors in the oil and gas drilling industry
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop training plans accordingly
• Create training materials and resources, including presentations, handouts, and videos
• Work closely with the HSE team to ensure all training programs are up-to-date and in compliance with regulations and industry best practices
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure training programs are relevant and effective
• Collaborate with other departments and external trainers to provide a comprehensive training program for all employees and contractors
• Act as a subject matter expert on HSE issues and provide guidance and support to employees and contractors
• Maintain accurate records of all training activities and provide reports to management as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE training, preferably in the oil and gas drilling industry
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in the oil and gas industry
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs and materials
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional certifications in HSE training and auditing are preferred
