Overview

The Role We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to join our team for a major infrastructure project (Roads & Bridges) in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have prior UAE experience in similar infrastructure works and hold a valid OSHAD certification and UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the HSE plan in compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Report, investigate, and document incidents and near-misses; ensure preventive actions are implemented.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to site personnel.
• Liaise with project management, subcontractors, and government authorities to ensure safe working conditions.
• Maintain updated HSE documentation and records in line with OSHAD and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as HSE Officer in Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
• OSHAD Certified to practice in Abu Dhabi (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and practices.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
