We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer in Dubai. This role is crucial for ensuring that our workplace adheres to safety regulations and promotes a culture of health and safety among employees. As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for assessing workplace hazards, conducting safety audits, and providing training to staff on safety procedures. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practices, ensuring they understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and ensure that all employees are engaged in HSE initiatives.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper usage among staff.
- Provide reports and presentations to management on HSE performance and recommend improvements.
Preferred Candidate
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role, preferably in a recruitment or employee placement agency.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with employees at all levels.
