Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced HSE Inspector to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on residential construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of overall experience, including 5 years in the UAE, along with a NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification. This role is critical for monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, and coordinating safety measures. Candidates must be able to join immediately and currently reside in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of overall experience as an HSE Inspector.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Proven consultant-side experience on construction projects.
• Residential building project experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect site activities for compliance.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect site activities to ensure compliance with approved HSE plans, project specifications, and UAE regulations.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies in line with consultant and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments for residential construction activities.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions, issue corrective actions, and follow up on close-out.
• Ensure proper implementation of method statements, risk assessments (MSRA), and permit-to-work systems.
• Monitor compliance related to PPE usage, scaffolding, excavation works, lifting operations, and work at height.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; assist in investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision teams to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and daily safety logs for consultant review.
• Support HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs on site.

Key Qualifications
