A leading international contractor in the UAE is seeking a qualified HSE Hygiene Officer to ensure compliance with ADNOC and UAE occupational health regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree related to Occupational Health and 3-5 years of experience in this field within oil and gas or industrial projects. Strong communication and compliance monitoring skills are essential for this role, which aims to enhance workplace hygiene standards and health safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in HSE hygiene or occupational health roles.
• Knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards and UAE regulations.
• NEBOSH IGC certification.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site hygiene inspections and identify potential health hazards.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and UAE occupational health & hygiene regulations.
• Monitor and implement personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions for workers on hygiene practices, PPE, and infection control.
• Maintain records of health incidents, hygiene inspections, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with medical teams for occupational health checks and reports.
• Support incident investigations related to hygiene and health-related non-conformities.
• Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in HSE hygiene or occupational health roles, preferably in Oil & Gas or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards, UAE Federal Environment & Health Laws, ISO 14001/45001/22000.
• NEBOSH IGC
• Food Safety Level-IV
