Job description

Luxury 5* Hotel in Dubai is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to assist on a day-to-day basis with all the responsibilities of the Housekeeping Department.

Duties
  • Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department are carried out according to the standards of the company and as specified by senior management
  • Perform regular inspections of laundry, public areas, and lodges
  • Manage, support and assist housekeeping personnel as required
  • To ensure that all housekeeping personnel are being briefed on their daily duties
  • Lead by example with appearance and personal hygiene
  • Ensure that the cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of rooms and public areas
  • Ensure that all repair and maintenance problems that need attention are reported
  • Always maintain a positive attitude and a courteous and professional demeanour
  • Anticipate and respond to all guest needs quickly, efficiently and courteously
  • Ensure that any guest complaints are resolved quickly
  • Ensure that monthly stock takes are carried out
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • A formal hospitality qualification
  • Preferably 4+ years previous housekeeping supervisor experience in a large Hotel / Resort
