Head Waiter Opportunity - Dubai, U.A.E - Immediate Start Available

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Headwaiter to manage all aspects of dining, from intimate in-room experiences to grand events, for a discerning VIP individual based in the UAE. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of luxury service, and the ability to anticipate and exceed expectations.

Dining Room Management

• Oversee the daily operations of the private dining room, ensuring impeccable presentation and flawless service.
• Manage and train dining room staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute customized dining menus.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.

In-Room Dining

• Coordinate and execute in-room dining services, from menu selection to delivery and presentation.
• Train and supervise service staff for in-room dining.
• Maintain inventory of in-room dining amenities and supplies.

Event Management

• Plan and execute a variety of events, including formal dinners, cocktail parties, and private gatherings.
• Manage guest lists, seating arrangements, and event timelines.
• Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Coordinate with external vendors as needed.

Guest Relations

• Build strong relationships with the VIP and their guests.
• Anticipate and address guest needs and preferences.
• Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

Purchasing and Inventory

• Manage dining room and in-room dining inventory.
• Place orders for food, beverages, and supplies.
• Monitor expenses and maintain budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Headwaiter in a high-end private household or luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional service to VIP clientele.
• Extensive knowledge of fine dining etiquette, service standards, and culinary trends.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are a plus.

Preferences

• European National EU passport Holder.
• Happy to accept candidates from luxury hotels, restaurants or similar roles.
• Must have longevity in recent positions (3yrs+).
