About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Head of Business Development to lead our user acquisition, channel development, performance growth, and regional market strategy. This role requires strong crypto derivatives experience, proven revenue performance, and existing networks within the blockchain, trading, and investment ecosystem. The position is based in Dubai, managing a high-performing team across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities
1. User Acquisition & Growth
  • Leverage existing networks in blockchain, investment, funds, trading, stocks, and crypto communities to drive new user acquisition.
  • Develop user acquisition strategies, execution rhythms, and scalable growth plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations to drive user conversion and activation.
  • Lead the team to achieve quarterly and annual acquisition goals.
  • Identify, build, and integrate high-quality marketing and distribution channels.
  • Create and deliver effective market placement and acquisition strategies.
  • Expand and manage diverse promotional channels, including:
    • News & crypto media
    • Vertical media platforms
    • Investment communities
    • KOLs / influencers
    • App traffic acquisition
    • SEO & growth channels
    • Quant teams, strategy providers, trading educators
3. Performance & KPI Ownership
  • Set acquisition, channel expansion, and conversion KPIs.
  • Deliver actionable and data-driven marketing plans aligned to product and market cycles.
  • Lead the execution of campaigns and initiatives to meet revenue and performance targets.
4. Team Leadership & Department Operations
  • Build and lead a market expansion team with clear goals and responsibilities.
  • Formulate market strategies aligned with operational and product timelines.
  • Improve market processes and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate cross-department collaboration with Product, Operations, Compliance, and BD.
  • Solve complex or high-impact issues beyond frontline capability.
5. Market Research & Strategic Insights
  • Conduct ongoing market research on competitors, user behavior, and industry trends.
  • Provide forward-looking market insights and data to guide decision-making.
  • Monitor industry dynamics, regulatory shifts, and user demand changes.
Requirements
Education & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, trading, and investment fundamentals.
  • Crypto trading or derivatives experience is strongly preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years in crypto, blockchain, or financial investment industry.
  • 4+ years in trading, stocks, funds, or other investment fields.
  • Proven leadership experience in crypto exchange marketing or derivatives growth.
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving acquisition and revenue goals.
