Overview

A Guest Service Agent at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre warmly welcomes guests, assists with check-in and check-out, and delivers seamless, personalized service from arrival to departure. The role embodies True Waldorf Service and Forbes Five-Star standards, ensuring every interaction is handled with genuine care to create an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Check in arriving guests and check out departing guests in a friendly and caring manner, enlivening True Waldorf Service
  • Accommodate special requests whenever possible. If needed, assist guests in completing the registration cards
  • Ensure that front office leaders are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests
  • Demonstrate a high level of engagement including True Waldorf Stories for our guests
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
  • Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  • Use correct procedures regarding acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
  • Follow Waldorf Astoria brand standards
  • Assist other departments, as necessary
  • Perform related duties and special projects assigned
