Job Title: General Accountant
Industry: Real Estate
Salary: AED 4,000 – AED 4,500
The ideal candidate will manage all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain precise financial records for property sales, rentals, and leasing activities.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Handle payroll processing on schedule and manage petty cash transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
- Monitor and control costs, expenses, and supplier accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT and corporate tax filings in coordination with auditors.
- Manage cheque and cash deposits, including post-dated cheques (PDCs), bounced cheques, and hold cheques, with proper follow-up and documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Support CRM-related financial activities, ensuring accurate integration of accounting data with the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE real estate sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
