Job summary

A real estate company in Sharjah is seeking a General Accountant to manage all accounting functions and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the UAE real estate sector, and strong analytical skills. This full-time position offers a salary range of AED 4,000 – AED 4,500 per month.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE real estate sector.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain precise financial records for property sales, rentals, and leasing activities.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Handle payroll processing on schedule and manage petty cash transactions.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
  • Monitor and control costs, expenses, and supplier accounts.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and corporate tax filings in coordination with auditors.
  • Manage cheque and cash deposits, including post-dated cheques (PDCs), bounced cheques, and hold cheques.
  • Perform bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
  • Support CRM-related financial activities, ensuring accurate integration of accounting data.
