Would you like your finance expertise to make a tangible difference to patients’ lives? If so, we want you as our next Finance Manager for Novo Nordisk UAE.

Your new role

We are looking for a hands‑on Finance Manager to strengthen our UAE affiliate finance team and partner closely with the Head of Finance & Operations. You will manage day‑to‑day finance operations, act as a business partner to the LoB, statutory and tax compliance, month‑end close and management reporting, and deliver commercial insights that help drive business decisions. This role is based in Dubai and offers a unique opportunity to influence local financial performance while operating within a global finance framework.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead timely month end and year end close for the UAE affiliate; prepare management packs aligned with Novo Nordisk standards.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE statutory reporting and tax requirements; manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Own budgeting and forecasting processes for the affiliate; partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to drive meaningful bottom‑up planning processes and provide insightful inputs, balancing ambition and achievability.
  • Maintain robust internal controls, policies and processes where applicable.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital optimisation and banking relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation in finance processes and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner for the local leadership team and relevant global finance functions.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is preferred.
  • 5‑7 years’ post‑qualification experience in finance roles, preferably within multinational companies (Pharmaceuticals, FMCG and consumer goods fields are preferable).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax requirements.
  • Proven experience with month end close, statutory reporting, audit and financial planning & analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), data modelling and BI analytics platform (Microsoft PowerBI) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and commercial mindset. Fluent English; Arabic is an asset.
  • High ethical standards, attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Your new department

Finance and Operations Department is overseeing the financial management aspects of the Affiliate, acting as a trusted organization and business partners to the commercial leaders and leadership team in UAE. The F&O team is composed of 5 professionals driven operations in Accounting & Tax (CoE model), Procurement and Supply chain.

Your skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is preferred.
