Job description

BG Global Recruitment is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturing Company to hire a Field Operator (Cooking). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the startup, operation, and troubleshooting of cooking machinery under controlled conditions. This role ensures adherence to process, quality, and safety standards while maintaining a clean and efficient production environment.


Responsibilities:
  1. Operate complex cooking equipment, including cookers and related machinery.
  2. Start machines and initiate the production process.
  3. Perform routine machine condition checks and execute preventive maintenance as per checklists.
  4. Prepare materials and assemble equipment before production starts.
  5. Monitor equipment performance and adjust parameters according to standard procedures.
  6. Detect and report equipment malfunctions or operational irregularities.
  7. Remove finished products and waste materials from machines.
  8. Escalate any safety, quality, or process issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.
  9. Support production supervisors in meeting scheduling and output targets.
  10. Complete and interpret control charts and productivity system forms.
  11. Order required materials and manage related inventories.
  12. Minimize production losses, scrap, and rework by following best practices.

Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years of production experience in the Meat & Poultry Processing Industry.
  2. At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Operator/Technician in a multinational company.
  3. Educational qualification: Diploma or High School Certificate.
  4. Basic English language proficiency.
