Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Estimation Engineer to join our esteemed construction clients in the UAE. This role is open to Emirati nationals only and female candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects working closely with technical teams to ensure project success. This is an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience develop technical expertise and grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and understand project drawings specifications and related documents.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and construction projects.
  • Assist in quantity takeoffs from drawings and bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation.
  • Collect and analyze quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents proposals and bid packages.
  • Coordinate with the design procurement and project teams to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Update cost databases with new pricing information.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
  • Assist in risk assessment and provide inputs for contingency calculations.
  • Maintain documentation of estimates and assumptions for future reference.

Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying Certificate.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; up to 3 year of experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Basic understanding of construction methods materials and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Knowledge of estimation or cost management software is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English; Arabic is a plus.
