Overview

The role requires the successful candidate to teach English up to KS4 with the possibility of some A-Level too. A-level experience is not essential.

School and Setting

The school is based in the south Al Barsha area which is a 20 min drive into Jumeirah and downtown Dubai, the home of the Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world. The Al Barsha area of Dubai arguably has the most international residents compared to any other area in Dubai. The school is a well established 3-18 mixed boys and girls school founded in 1998, providing the National curriculum for England and Wales to mixed expat and affuent Arab students. The majority of personnel hail from western developed countries along with the teaching staff who are mostly UK trained to PGCE or B.Ed standard. The school boasts 2 swimming pools, football and rugby fields and a full sized basketball court. Classrooms are fully equipped with the latest equipment and resources.
