- Managing the Roaming Domain to achieve short/mid/long term planning requirements.
- Responsible for the design & planning of all the roaming device management platforms and services.
- Ensuring the development and implementation of annual and medium-term plans and budgets which meet the organization’s financial objectives.
- Defining, developing and creating Roaming services products roadmap, and evolution in alignment with different Business entities and the Technology strategy, (i.e. Network Traffic redirection, Outreach Messaging, Volte Steering, Smart call/code Assistant, Border Roaming gateway, Silent roamer Analytics, I-Campaig etc).
- Converting Marketing requirements into engineering targets by evaluating the technical feasibility of their requirements, investigating the possibility of the fulfilment of the requirements through existing platforms and solutions capabilities or through the sourcing process with suppliers.
- Responsible for evaluating, planning and providing necessary technical solutions to accommodate Business and TDRA demands.
- Ensuring solution designs are up-to-date and as per industry best practices in alignment with the Architectural strategy of the Technology department.
- Responsible for multiple platforms that ensure maximizing revenue and customer experience by steering our roaming customers to our preferred international partners.
- Focusing on financial efficiency through aggressive OPEX/CAPEX saving.
- Developing progress reports and abstracted technical specifications.
- Reviewing systems performance reports and capacity utilization to ensure correct design rules and sufficient system capacity to serve traffic needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum B.Eng in Electronics/Telecom Engineering, preferably M.Eng or M.S. from a reputable university.
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience with operator or service provider in the technology domain, particularly in the Roaming systems architecture.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in supervising planning teams.
- Strong experience and technical know-how in the Roaming domain.
- Strong experience with multivendor/multiplatform integration.
