Job description
Main Purpose of Job

To provide emergency medical treatment and transportation services to patients in line with relevant regulatory authority guidelines.

Key Responsibility Areas
  • Provide a comprehensive emergency medical service to patients in accordance with all the relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure that life support equipment is in good working order and managed according to relevant guidelines and company policy.
  • Ensure continuous professional development standards are adhered to aimed at ensuring a high quality of patient services.
  • Manage and monitor all administration related to billing and cash handling in line with standard company policy.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping practices are followed to prevent potential risk and ensure legal compliance.
Required Education
  • A relevant 3 year Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMT-P).
  • A recognised Intermediate Life Support qualification (EMT-I).
  • Licensed as Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic/Intermediate with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.
Required Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in an Emergency Medical Services environment.
  • A minimum of 1600 working hours during the last 24 months in an Emergency Medical Service position and proof of a valid driver's license.
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
  • Client service and related management principles.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
