Manage daily dredging activities on the project.
Provide input for project planning and ensure execution as per the plan.
Monitor and evaluate subcontractor activities.
Provide weekly reports to the Works Manager on milestones, progress, budget, issues, and planning.
Ensure QA/HSE requirements are observed onsite.
Coordinate with Technical department to optimize equipment usage on site.
Delegate tasks to dredge supervisors and senior dredge masters; review daily reports, assess performance, and propose improvements; identify risks and mitigations; escalate as needed.
Maintain and update on-site project documentation and provide accurate information to the Works Manager.
Submit purchase requests for dredging-related items.
Monitor, evaluate and control subcontractor activities.
Provide leadership and guidance to dredge supervisors and senior dredge masters.
Ensure collaboration and smooth data transfer among project team and stakeholders.
Collaborate with dredge, rock works, survey and technical divisions onsite.
Coordinate and plan staffing for dredging activities.
Provide the Works Manager with staffing input following HR procedures.
Collaborate with Technical, QA/HSE, Estimation and Operational Advisory departments.
Coordinate and execute annual performance evaluations for dredge supervisors and senior dredge masters, and ensure evaluations for subordinates are conducted.

Manage and be responsible the for day to day dredging activities on a project.
Provide the works manager with input for the development of the detailed project plan. Ensure that dredging activities are executed as per project plan.
Manage cost efficiently dredging activities and provide Works manager on a weekly basis with financial reports.
Provide weekly report to the Works Manager on milestones, work/ done, progress, budget, issues and planning.
Ensure that QA/HSE requirements and procedures are observed onsite.
Ensure optimal usage and functioning of NMDC's equipments in close cooperation and consultation with the Technical department.
Delegate specific responsibilities to dredge supervisor and Sr. dredge masters(s) and analyze their daily reports. Assess performance and suggest efficiency improvement activities. Identify risks and appropriate mitigations; elevate if necessary to Works.
Manage and update project documentation on site and provide Works manager with accurate and up to date information.
Request for the purchase of dredging related items.
Monitor , evaluate and control activities of subcontractors.
Provide leadership and guidance towards dredge supervisors and Sr. dredge masters.
Ensure cooperation between project team members and a smooth data/ information transfer to internal and if applicable, external stakeholders.
Cooperate constructively, efficiently and effectively cooperate with colleagues and subordinates e.g. dredge, rock works, survey and technical divisions, onsite.
Coordinate and plan optimal staffing for dredging related activities.
Provide Works Manager with input and advise on staffing needs following human resource procedures and processes.
