Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions in a professional manner
  • Examine patients, order laboratory tests, interpret results and make diagnoses
  • Prescribe medications as needed
  • Provide patient education regarding their medical condition
  • Develop effective treatment plans that include medication, lifestyle changes and/or surgical procedures when necessary
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as required
  • Follow established protocols for infection control and safety standards in the clinic
