Overview

Ready to make your mark, shaping insights strategy across the Middle East? I’m partnering with a leading international research and advisory firm to find a Research Director or Associate Director to help lead their research capabilities as they grow their UAE-based team. This is a pivotal hire, working at the intersection of marketing, brand strategy, analytics, and brand valuation. You’ll play a hands-on role in client development while helping build their insights offering. They are interested in speaking with top research talent based in the UK, US or Australia who would be open to relocating to the UAE.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and mentoring a research team, ensuring projects run smoothly and to the highest standard.

• Collaborating with global colleagues, sharing knowledge and driving innovation across markets.
• Contributing to a positive, entrepreneurial workplace culture with a “can-do” spirit.

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years’ experience in market research/insights, ideally agency-side.
• A proven track record in brand research and strategy.
• A track record in quantitative research (qual experience a plus).
• Strong sector experience within financial services.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to design, manage, and present research that influences decision-making.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills. You are confident managing both clients and teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages welcome.
• Practical experience with multivariate analysis and tools such as Q, Askia, or SPSS.
