Job description
THE POSITION

As Deck Foreman you’ll be responsible for leading the deck team on board. Your mission is to ensure that all deck operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with maritime, environmental and project-specific standards. You’ll support operational output while creating a positive, collaborative work culture.

YOUR IMPACT

In this role, your contribution directly supports safe and effective offshore construction. Your leadership ensures equipment is used optimally and your team knows exactly what to do, when and how. You’ll be trusted with key responsibilities such as:

  • Supervising deck crew and crane/tension operators during marine construction tasks;
  • Ensuring safe and compliant use of rigging, lifting and lay equipment;
  • Managing daily deck operations and equipment maintenance;
  • Leading toolbox talks and contributing to a strong safety culture;
  • Coordinating with the Master and Offshore Construction Manager to optimise operations.
