Position : Crane Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of cranes in the oil and gas industry. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy equipment, materials, and machinery on our project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials on project sites.
2. Perform pre-operational checks and inspections on cranes to ensure they are in safe working condition.
3. Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine crane capacities and rigging requirements.
4. Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient crane operations.
5. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cranes as needed.
6. Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
7. Keep accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections.
8. Train and mentor new crane operators as needed.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in the oil and gas industry.
3. Valid crane operator certification and license.
4. Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities.
5. Ability to read and interpret load charts and rigging plans.
6. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
7. Physical ability to operate cranes and lift heavy objects.
8. Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
9. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
