What you will do

The Senior Contract Manager MEA is a key role reporting to the Senior Contract Management Director EMEA region and will be based in Dubai. You will lead the commercial and contracts management team through the contract lifecycle management process (from sales through execution and closure stages) provide guidance to the quantity surveying and planning teams and lead on commercial risk management matters to the MEA business and MEA leadership teams.

How you will do it

As Senior Contracts Manager you will be working in close collaboration with Business Units (Sales and Operations) Legal and Finance teams within and beyond the MEA region and various stakeholders across the organization in ensuring appropriate commercial / contractual / legal risk management - identification and mitigation.

  • Contract Leadership : Take charge of managing contracts ensuring they align with company policies while effectively collaborating with the EMEA Contract Management Department.
  • Standardization : Develop maintain and update standard contract agreements for both customers and vendors ensuring that all agreements meet organizational guidelines.
  • Team Management : Lead and mentor a team of Contract Specialists and Administrators guiding them in conducting thorough contractual risk reviews for all commercial contract categories.
  • Training & Support : Provide hands-on training and guidance to Sales and Operations teams in contracting practices and procedures
  • Risk Management : Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to protect the companys interests while advising the business on contractual obligations.
  • Post-Sales Leadership : Collaborate with Field Operations and lead Quantity Surveyors in managing post-sales commercial matters ensuring efficient handling of payment applications change orders and contract claims.
  • Talent Development : Drive the development of commercial talent within the organization nurturing skills in Quantity Surveying Planning and Contract Management.
  • Quote to Cash Process : Oversee and optimize the Quote to Cash process ensuring all transactions are executed in accordance with approved contracts and company policies.
  • Dispute Resolution : Proactively mitigate and resolve any contractual disputes focusing on cost completion timelines payment issues and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement : Champion improvements related to unbilled and accounts receivable across the MEA business aligning with company standards.
