We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Editor. In this key role, you will shape EtihadWE’s public narrative and engagement. This position requires a skilled communicator who can research, write, and disseminate compelling stories about EtihadWE’s initiatives, projects, and impacts on the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communication materials to promote company initiatives and achievements.
• Create engaging content for newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms.
• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, projects, and community issues to inform content creation.
• Interview stakeholders, including EtihadWE employees, customers, and community members for stories.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
• Coordinate and respond to media inquiries, ensuring accurate representation of EtihadWE.
• Assist in drafting communication materials during emergencies or crises, ensuring timely and clear messaging.
• Support the development of crisis communication plans.
• Attend EtihadWE events, community outreach activities, and industry conferences to capture key moments and insights.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding EtihadWE and its initiatives.
• Promote EtihadWE’s mission and values through storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Experience in journalism, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably in energy, utilities, or environmental sectors.
• Writing and editing skills, strong research skills, digital communication skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with media landscapes and experience in building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and multimedia editing software.
• Understanding of crisis communication principles and experience in handling media during challenging situations
