Job description

The Abu Dhabi, Sustainability Week team, are looking for an English Content Developer to be part of their team.

As a Content Developer, you will lead activities related to research and the creation of English language content for external and internal communications that positions ADSW as the global platform forethought leadership and innovative solutions for the energy transition through renewable energy and sustainability.

Key Accountabilities

• Create and revise content for messaging, internal communications, press/media/editorials, website/digital platforms, including ADSW Live and ADSW Web Series, marketing materials and events/speaking opportunities.
• Translate projects, assets and insights into compelling content accessible to outside audiences – on behalf of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and as needed.
• Conduct research for speaking opportunities, industry intelligence, messaging and spokesperson positioning.
• Serve as a gatekeeper to proof content and ensure quality control; maintain effective system of review and approval so that all relevant feedback is incorporated; create and maintain editorial style guides to ensure language consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain productive relationships with relevant internal and external partners to keep abreast of industry news and company strategies to maintain the relevance of all communication materials.
• Engage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parameters.
• Provide management information as and when required by the line manager – this includes the production and timely provision of accurate reports in line with reporting schedules.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or a related field.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in content development, gaining strong language and editorial skills or equivalent experience.
