Consultant Plastic Surgeon – Burns

Salary: £ – £18K / month (tax‑free)

The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic surgical department within a state‑of‑the‑art facility providing comprehensive plastic, reconstructive and burns care. The role involves managing acute and complex burns cases, performing reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, and contributing to teaching and research within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on burns management and complex wound reconstruction.
  • Participate in acute burns assessment, operative intervention and long‑term rehabilitation planning.
  • Collaborate closely with critical care, trauma and allied health teams to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Contribute to academic teaching, mentorship and clinical governance initiatives.
  • Support ongoing departmental development, innovation and research.
Requirements
  • Recognised specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast, CCT, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian or equivalent).
  • Subspecialty fellowship or substantial experience in Burns and Reconstructive Surgery.
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years post‑specialist qualification experience.
  • Eligibility for consultant‑level registration in the UAE.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and teaching skills.
