Job description

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed medical team. This role is critically important in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to our patients during surgical and procedural interventions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations to assess patient health and formulate personalized anesthesia plans.
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary surgical team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implement pain management protocols and provide thorough post-operative care to monitor recovery and address any complications.
  • Engage in clinical education, supervising and mentoring residents and junior anesthesia staff.
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance anesthesia practices and patient safety.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in the field of anesthesiology.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited residency training program in Anesthesiology.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required.
