Overview

The Role

We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Commercial Director to lead the end-to-end commercial function within our organization, with key oversight across marketing, procurement, contracts, vendor management, and event strategy. This leadership role will align marketing and procurement efforts with broader business goals to drive growth, enhance brand equity, streamline supplier performance, and ensure financial discipline. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience from large-scale real estate development projects, with the ability to manage high-value contracts, cross-functional teams, and complex commercial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Translate C-level business goals into integrated commercial, marketing, and procurement action plans.
  • Define and lead the implementation of comprehensive 360° marketing and commercial strategies focused on brand visibility, lead generation, cost efficiency, and ROI.
  • Oversee market intelligence efforts and competitor benchmarking to inform commercial decisions and positioning.
  • Lead the planning and execution of ATL campaigns (TV, radio, print, OOH) including media buying, agency management, and budget control.
  • Oversee BTL activities such as brochures, direct marketing, kiosks, and mall activations aligned with micro-market segmentation and product strategy.
  • Ensure consistency and cohesion of brand messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of all large-scale events including project launches, channel partner and agent meetings, customer engagement events, and exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Manage branding, vendor sourcing, and on-ground execution in alignment with procurement protocols.
  • Direct end-to-end procurement processes for marketing, media, events, and operational services.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts ensuring value, quality, delivery, and compliance with company policies.
  • Standardize procurement and supplier management procedures, with an emphasis on vendor evaluation, data collection, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  • Develop and manage high-value, strategic vendor relationships globally.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and stakeholder coordination to maintain healthy supplier partnerships.
  • Monitor the market for potential vendors that align with the organization’s evolving quality and budget standards.
  • Oversee commercial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission in line with organizational KPIs and policies.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure commercial initiatives are cost-effective and support broader financial goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of senior-level commercial leadership experience, including procurement, marketing, and vendor oversight in real estate/property development.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of marketing performance metrics, supplier markets, and commercial risk mitigation.
  • Experience in mega projects, mixed-use developments, or master-planned communities (preferred).
  • Familiarity with global procurement standards and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at executive and board levels (preferred).
  • Strong analytical thinking with a data-driven decision-making approach (preferred).
