Client Technology Applications Senior Specialist AlixPartners

In this role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services Engagement Technology Services team, the Client Technology Applications (CTA) Senior Specialist supports the Engagement Technology Services (ETS) group and is a key team member responsible for supporting various third-party software applications used throughout the full lifecycle of eDiscovery/litigation engagements. The role includes operational support for all technology systems, general server and systems administration, and occasional support for custom software and system-to-system interfaces.

The Client Technology Applications Senior Specialist is a full-time position based in Dubai and reports to the Client Technology Applications Team Lead.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Providing on-site operational support for current and future third-party application software tools used in the eDiscovery process lifecycle, participating in cross-disciplinary teams as needed.
  2. Executing data analysis, transformation, and migrations between applications, supporting import/export requirements, and developing documentation for data mappings and processes.
  3. Participating in the design, implementation, and support of ETS/eDiscovery services, including custom and packaged applications, and analyzing system architectures for improvements.
  4. Supporting the operation of ETS/eDiscovery systems, including end-user support, server administration, and system maintenance under management guidance.
  5. Providing excellent end-user support by responding promptly to technology needs, resolving issues, and communicating effectively.
  6. Managing general systems administration tasks such as server maintenance, patching, backups, restores, and user permissions following policies.
  7. Gaining expertise in the software tools used for eDiscovery, understanding their features, functionalities, and data handling capabilities.
  8. Adhering to SLAs and participating in system analysis and troubleshooting for optimal performance.
  9. Scheduling and executing application maintenance activities, including patches and upgrades.
  10. Supporting the implementation and documentation of new hardware, servers, services, and software interfaces.
