Salary: ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary

The Civil Chargehand will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on‑site civil construction activities, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This role acts as a key link between site engineers and the workforce, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance at the site level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily civil construction activities including concrete works, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
  • Allocate tasks to masons, helpers, and subcontract workers and monitor their performance.
  • Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
  • Coordinate with site engineers to plan daily work schedules and resource requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure proper workmanship at all stages of construction.
  • Monitor material usage, minimize wastage, and report material requirements to site management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, site policies, and toolbox talk instructions.
  • Identify site issues, delays, or technical challenges and report them promptly.
  • Maintain basic site records such as daily work progress and manpower deployment.
  • Support timely completion of activities to meet project deadlines.
Essential Qualifications
  • ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
