Job Summary: We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Zayed City. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the carpentry field and be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. This position offers a salary of 900 and is open to foreign applicants.

Job Overview

The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures onsite or offsite. This includes the construction of furniture, stairs, cabinets, decks, windows, doors, etc., using a variety of hand tools and power tools. The Carpenter must also be able to read blueprints or diagrams to determine the size and shape of the structure being built.

Responsibilities

• Measure materials accurately before cutting them to size
• Construct wooden structures including walls, beams, doors, floors etc., using hand tools like saws and drills
• Install fixtures such as windows and door frames
• Finish wood surfaces by sanding them or applying lacquer or varnish
• Repair damaged furniture or other objects made from wood
• Read blueprints or diagrams to determine size and shape of structures being built
• Follow safety guidelines when operating power tools or handling chemicals for finishing wood surfaces
